In recent years, Conch Group continues to develop cyclical economy, promote energy conservation and emission reduction,establish the WHG project in many subsidiaries. As a base of subsidiaries, Baimashan cement plant not only establishes the WHG project, but also takes on the experimental work of Group’s Waste Heat Supplying. By doing this, they increased the use of the energy cycling capability to meet the energy conservation purposes.

On November 28, 2007, Baimashan cement plant completed the alteration of the entire heating system and supplied heat successfully. This was also the first waste heat supplying project in Conch Group.

In 2007, Baimashan cement plant whole reconstructs the system; using an AQC boiler to supply steam instead of hot water, improve the efficiency of using heat, optimize the auxiliary pipeline of heat supplying. Thus, increase the effect of heat supplying. The heating area arrived about 60,000 M2, satisfying the supplying of Baimashan office buildings, residential quarters, single apartment’s heat and hot water supplying, and achieved good economic and social effects.
