On December 6, at the special environmental protection, energy conservation meeting that Standing Committee of of Hunan People’s Congress and Hunan Provincial government organized, Shuangfeng Conch Won Hunan Environmental Protection Award.

On August 23, Hunan Provincial People's Congress environmental inspection team went to inspect and guide the work of Shuangfeng Conch, spoke highly of conch’s environmental governance achievements. This award is another affirmation that the work of the environmental protection Shuangfeng Conch have done.

Since 2007, Shuangfeng Conch has taken building an ecological environmental protection enterprise as the goal; strengthen environmental protection as the company’s important task. On the one hand, adjusts measures to local conditions, rational distributes, and vigorously conducts the green home building activities. They planted trees with a total number of more than 30,000 the whole year, resurfaced sod over 10,000 square meters. Green plant has been basically completed.

On the other hand, strengthen the company's operational environmental equipment’s monitoring and maintenance work. Through the installation of on-line monitoring system, master and control the operation of environmental equipment such as electrostatic dust collectors, dust collectors and limestone shelf sprinkler, and conduct a general inspection of environmental protection equipments once a week to find problems and rectify them, and to effectively deal with the sewage problems. By means of the adoption of the above measures, environmental protection has yielded good results.
