At 2:30 pm on October 30, the meeting of extending energy-saving technology for Qingyuan was held in Yingde Conch Cement Co., Ltd grandly. Relevant leaders from Qingyuan city, Yingde city , Qingyuan county and people from Conch Kawasaki, Yingde Conch as well as the news media, with a total number of more than 150,attended the meeting.

The theme of the conference is to extend energy-saving new technology and promote the construction of WHG. At the meeting, the leaders of Yingde Conch exchanged the energy-saving work experience with other companies. Deputy General Manager of Conch Kawasaki Xiao Yan introduced the Conch Group’s development and successful experiences of WHG technology to the participants in form of slides and expressed willingness to cooperate with the people in the domestic cement sector to extend WHG technology, concern social responsibility, make its due contribution for building a environmental conservation and harmonious society.

At the meeting, deputy director of Economic & Trade Bureau of Qingyuan city Li Shuquan made an important speech. He pointed out that the construction of a resource-saving society is a major strategic disposal that the Central Committee of the CPC and State Council make in the new situation, and also an effective way that the enterprise conform upward trend in prices, lower the production costs and enhance competitiveness ability. Yingde Conch’s construction of 2 × 18000kW WHG is one of the key energy conservation projects that Qingyuan implements, whose WHG technology has reached the world’s top level. Upon the project’s completion, annual savings of standard coal will reach 102,500 tons, and the emissions reduction of CO2 will reach 150,000 tons. It has strong economic and environmental benefits and worth to extending to the city's cement production of the high-energy consumption.
