On June 11, 2008, invited by Thailand Siam Cement Group (SCG), deputy general manager of Anhui Conch Group Ji Qinying led a delegation to Thailand and attended SCG two phase WHG project contract signing ceremony.

As the biggest cement producer in Thailand, from the beginning of 2007 to the beginning of 2008, under cooperation between Conch and SCG, Conch built (EPC mode) a set of 9100KW WHG unit for SKK plant No.6 kiln of SCG. This unit connected to the grid on February 25 this year, two months ahead of time according to the contract time. This unit has passed function examination, signed the acceptance certificate. At present, the WHG unit operated stably and got the consistent high praise of SCG and cement industry enterprises in Thailand.

It is reported that, on the successful cooperation basis of SKK6 WHG unit project, after international bidding, Conch got the SCG’s two phase, two sets of WHG unit collocating four production lines. Namely, SKK plant No.3 & 4& 5(2*4000+1*5500t/d) and SW plant 10000t/d,designed power capacity respectively is 22600kW and 16600kW,the contract time respectively is 15 months and 14 months.

During the signing ceremony, the two parties happily reviewed good cooperation relationship established on preceding stage. Particularly, successful implementation on the 9100kw WHG unit collocating SKK plant No.6 kiln. Meantime, two parties also exchanged the opinions on the cooperation and execution mode for the two projects.

SCG president Pramote, engineering dept manager Pipope, General Manager of SKK plant and SKW plant attended the signing ceremony. Mr. Takayama Kenji and Mr.Tasaka Hideki of Japan Kawasaki Plant System Ltd also attended the signing ceremony.
