On April 11, nine experts from Jiangsu Power Projects Quality Supervision Office came to one subsidiary of Conch Cement, China Cement Co., Ltd, for the first 24 MW WHG quality supervision and inspection. In strictly accordance with the standard requirements, the inspection group supervised and inspected the WHG quality and civil construction of the company for the first time.

The leaders of China cement Co., Ltd, as well as the representatives from design, civil construction, geological survey, supervision and other units participated the first supervision meeting. The expert group heard a report on the work of the relevant unit, consulted the relevant documents, and inspected the construction at the site.

Through the inspection, the expert group believed that, construction, design, supervision units have been established an engineering quality control system, the project organization and management and staffing agencies was basically consistent with the size of the project. The quality system of owners, construction, and supervision units functioned normal.

The project uses Conch Group’s mature WHG technology. Also, this project received environmental approval in March 2007 and Jiangsu Economic and Trade Commission’s approval in July, which was listed financial incentives project plan for energy-saving technological transformation of National Development and Reform Commission in 2007.When the projects put into operation, it will contribute to further reduce the overall energy consumption of cement, promoting regional upgrading of the industrial structure.
