On morning 27 Sep, the joint venture contract of Anhui Conch Kawasaki Energy Reservation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was signed during the second Sino-Japan energy-saving and environment –protection forum was held in the Great Hall of People, Beijing.

The forum is aimed to further strengthen the cooperation between China and Japan on energy-saving and environment-protection. China Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan took part in the opening ceremony giving his speech, and director Ma Kai of China National Development and Reform Commission , Vice Minister Wei Jianguo of China Ministry of commerce, Minister  Alira Amari of Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Chief Director Fujio Cho of Japan-China Economic Association, etc. also participated the forum and gave their speech.

Before signing the Contract, Chairman Guo Wensan, executive director YU Biao, Conch Group Vice General Manager Ji Qinying, Conch Cement Vice General Manager He Chengfa and KHI Chairman Toshikazu Hayashi held friendly discussion in Beijing to exchange comments regarding the cooperation on energy-saving and environment-protection. On morning of 27 Sep, under the witness of government leaders of China and Japan in the forum and on behalf of Conch and Kawasaki respectively, Chairman Guo Wensan and Chairman Toshikazu Hayashi signed the joint venture contract of Anhui Conch Kawasaki Energy Reservation Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

The joint venture will mainly be involved in the development and manufacturing of energy-saving and environment-protection equipment on waste heat recovery boiler of cement industry, gas-burning boiler and waste burning, etc. The joint venture will promote in full scale the development of Chinese equipment manufacturing industry and provide advanced technology and equipment to cement industry and other energy-consumptive industry. This cooperation project belongs to the top 10 energy-saving industrial areas with most support for the state, and is one of the important measures to fulfill the State Council’s comprehensive plan on energy-saving and emission-decreasing.
