After modification by frequency driver, Id fan of Chizhou Conch third line was put into operation successfully at 13:18 of June 30. Up to now, the system has been running smoothly and the normal operating current of ID fan is decreased to about 170A from 230A before modification. According to the estimation of modification experts, the single machine power consumption of ID fan will be decreased by 2 kWh/t clinker after modification, and contributing a considerable power saving effect.

With the opportunity of general maintenance of the third line (5000t/d) in the end of June, electrical group of Chizhou Conch focused on the modification of 3506 ID fan by well-arranged man power and all resources inside and outside the Company, the new system no-load test succeeded at first time on June 28.

After the operation of the modified system, the Company invited electrical technical people to hold frequency driver knowledge training program, and adopted management by specially designed parameter table to monitor all the operation parameters of 3506 ID fan for the future comparison analysis of the new and old parameters , and also accumulate site data for future frequency driving modification projects.
