Shimen Conch held ground-breaking ceremony for the first 5000t/d cement production line on June 18^th.

Thousands of people including government officials from  Hunan province development and reform committee, local government officials, construction representatives attended the celebration ceremony.

Mr. Chen Wenhao,Vice Mayor of Changde city and Mr.Xiong Dashun, secretary of CLP of Shimen county, gave the warmly address respectively They expressed to constantly sustain and take care of the project construction.

Mr.Ren Yong, General manager of Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited, said in the ceremony Shimen Conch is the third cement project invested by Conch in Hunan province, which is also the important part of CONCH Cement “the eleventh five-year-development plan”. The project plans to build 2x5000t/d cement production lines. The first line will be put into operation in May 2008. The project will be the biggest cement enterprise in northwest of Hunan province.

The project would have the important significance in fulfilling science development, pushing cement industial structure adjustment, developing recycling economy, and promotion for reduction emission.

With the detonation of salute, Mr.Wu Jihai, the municipal committee secretary of CLP of Changde city ，announced the project groud-breaking. The ceremony successfully finished after some key learders accomplished  laying the foundation for the project.
