With its 6948.80 million kWh accumulated electricity generated of this year, 41.77kWh per ton clinker capacity and 95.28% availability to kiln, the 17000kw WHG(waste heat recovery power generation plant) of Chizhou Conch has been running in long term stable and safe status through ceaseless optimization. Main operating indexes of the 17000kw WHG are of the top lever among all the WHGs already operated in Conch group and the power plant has brought much economic profit and social profit to Chizhou Conch.

Since 1# WHG plant operated from 30 Nov of last year in Chizhou Conch is the first power plant with 4 boilers for only one common turbine, shortage of operation experience aroused many problems which need to be optimized at the early stable operation period, and got only 4^th performance during the general evaluation inside Conch group this year. After the evaluation, Chizhou Conch made a detailed improving plan item by item according to the optimizing suggestions listed in the result of evaluation and arranged fixed persons to be responsible for each plan item.

In a quite short time period, Chizhou Conch first optimized site safety signs, safety guard facilities, visiting way, working medium flowing direction indication of pipe and “No operating” indication of important valves. Meanwhile, all kinds of related regulation and emergency safety rules were pasted on wall easy to be found by a simple watching.

Secondly, training program was promoted to enhance the capability of CCR operators and local patrollers started from learning and discussion of 4 major regulations. The company launched a activity called “ contributing an idea for safety” to ensure the safety operation and built equipment hidden problem recording table, spare equipment management regulation, spare equipment switching-over recording book, recording book of filter flushing & exchanging, medicine usage, and prepared safety regulation on feeding strong acid and strong alkali. Also the bottleneck of too high AQC boiler outlet temperature has been salved by means of optimizing operation and technical modification.

Besides, Chizhou Conch emphasized the promotion of management personnel ability and strengthened technical management. Regular technical meetings was hold every month to analyze all the problems encountered and working group leaders and technician were required to patrol site equipment at least once a week to monitor operation performance of equipment to make sure the stable operation with growing performance of the system of 4 boilers with one turbine.

With the good performance of 17000kw generator, the company also rearranged all company resource in advance to participate zealously the erection process supervision and operation preparing of second generator. Now erection work of second generator of 11800kw has been started, foundation frame structure of 3 boilers has been put on their position, underground cooling water pipe outside generator building is under laying, and non-standard items are fabricated with fast progress.
