Along with the charging figures on DCS screen and people’s hurrah, Tongling Conch first waste heat recovery power generation(WHG)plant was put into operation at 19:18 on 31,Jan 2007, contributing a precious gift to the just-finished annual general meeting of Anhui Conch Cement Company Ltd.. Up to issuing time of this report, the plant has yielded 60000 kWh electricity, with the actual capacity of 8000kW.

During the period of building and commissioning, the leaders of the Company came to the site many times to give instruction, and relevant departments of headquarter also supported a lots, such as dispatching experts to work in site for on-site supervision. Especially during the commissioning, equipment department, automation institute and Ningguo Cement Plant dispatch people as commissioning team, who supported the project considerably for successful starting.

In order to prepare equipment installation and be ready for test run, Tongling Conch made the personnel re-arrangement at the beginning of the year, organized some technical personnal to Ningguo Cement Plant for training, and prepared the training evaluation plan to make sure all on duty for WHG plant. Meanwhile, Tongling Conch arranged the technical personnel visiting Chizhou Conch for study, these people took part in the whole process of installation and commissioning of Tongling Conch first WHG. They recorded and argued the key procedure and figure, and accumulated a lot of experience for the safety operation after starting and the second WHG plant in Tongling Conch. For the coordination with outside , Tongling Conch also planned in advance, contacted outside party in time, assigned certain people responsibity, and get a lot of support and help from Electricity Supply Company, and finally succeeded evaluation and implementation of inter-runing system.
