On Dec. 28, 2011, the 5-million ton Pier of Huainan Conch put into operation smoothly. As a supporting project of the grinding station, the pier is playing an anctive role in conveying goods as well as reducing production cost. The completion of the project will further enhance the capacity along Huai River, accelerate the construction of Northern Anhui Province, and improve the local economic development.
