On Feb.27,2009, the running ceremony of the two clinker production lines with daily output of 12000 ton and the 36mw waste heat generating project was held grandly.

The provincial Party committee secretary, Wang Jingshang, the governor, Wang Sanyun, the standing committee and secretary of the Provincial Committee , Zhan Xialai, the vice-governor, Huang Haisong, and some other leaders from the political departments, the secretary of Wuhu municipal Party committee, Chen shulong, the mayor, Yang JinJinglong, the chairman of the standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Wuhu, Zang Guoyin and other leaders, the leader of the Conch Group, Guo Wensan、Yubiao、Ji Qinying、Qi Shengli and other leaders attended the ceremony. More than thousand people from the departmengs of the Conch Group, Wuhu Conch, Digang Conch, the Wuhu city and the Fangchang county, the erection team formed every workers’ group.

Wuhu conch is one of the four cement grog production lines along the Yangtse with daily output of more than 10000 ton, planned by the Conch Group. Since opening the first two lines with daily output of 5000 ton in 2006, the sales have reached 3.5 billion yuan, the taxes handed in have been up to more than 0.5 billion yuan. This newly-opened two lines with daily output of 12000 ton and the 36mw waste heat generating project are the biggest in both size and the technique. The total investment is 3 billion. With the being completed of the project, the size、the competitive、and the economic benefit will be increased greatly, and it will be the biggest cement grog production base.
