At 8:38 in the morning of June 28, following the festive music of gong, drum and the cheerful lion dances, the start-working ceremony for the second 5000t/d clinker production line of Beiliu Conch grandly held at Beiliu Conch phase II project site.

Many main leaders of Yunlin city, Beiliu city, Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd and Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and together started the start-working button. The colorful flags fluttered, the firework soared to the sky and the applauses thunderously burst at ceremony site.

At the ceremony, secretary of Beiliu Committee of CPC(Communist Party of China) Pang Biaoyi indicated that, following the first 5000T/D clinker production line of Beiliu Conch put into operation, which made great contribution on optimizing industry structure, promoting cement industry upgrading, impelling new industrialization and the implementing “The industry thrive the city” strategy goal. Yulin Committee of CPC, Yulin Government and the concerned department would take seriously and support Beiliu Conch phase II project. They would continue to provide Beiliu Conch with the good service for its development, create the good external environment for Beiliu Conch production operation and engineering construction.

Beiliu Conch Phase II project plans to complete in May 2009, then it will form productivities for 3.6 million tons clinker and 1.8 million ton cement per year. Meanwhile, phase I 18MW WHG project will connect in grid in July 2008, the energy will get the full use, realize economic efficiency and the environmental protection benefit double-win, will further optimize the whole city industry structure, promote the local cement industry upgrading, advance new industrialization construction and promote Beiliu’s social economy new development.
