At 10:18am on October 28, 2007, the world's largest cement WHG - Tongling Conch WHG for 2*10000t/d clinker lines succeeded in grid connection at first start up.

This second WHG project of Tongling Conch is relied on 2*10000 t/d clinker production lines, collocating six boilers and one set mixed steam type condensing turbine and generator designed for the 30500 kW generating power.  The technical parameters of this project, such as, the evaporation volume of the boilers located on both inlet and outlet of the kiln, the capacity units, are in the world's top level. The generator units succeeded in grid connection, it symbolized that Conch fetched the new breakthrough on WHG

Since the start of this project on December of 2006, with the support of government at all levels and Conch Group, Tongling Conch has gained the construction and operation experience from the first project, improved the management network, and applied the divided responsibility system. What’s more, in order to control the efficiency, they also tracked down the process, developed the technical training and brought several improvement measures into effect. 

At press time, the load of this system, which has stably increased to 21000kW, is expected to meet the design standard after 72 hours’ operation.
