On 10 Sep,2007, A visiting group of 12 members including the CPC leaders and government leaders of Qingyuan city, Qingxin county and Yingde city, headed by Mr.Chen Yongzhi, the secretary of the Qingyuan city committee of the CPC, visited Wuhu and held friendly discussion with Mr.Guo Wensan(the president of Anhui Conch Cement Co.,Ltd.), Mr.Yu biao(the executive director of Conch Cement) and Mr.Ren Yong(the executive director of Conch Cement). After, the cooperation Letter of Intent was signed between the guests and the hosts.

Mr.Chen said in the signing ceremony that the investment of Conch Cement in Yingde city has been proved to be very successful and now the letter of intent has been  signed with Qingxin county to establish a new phase of cooperation between Conch and Qingyuan city. He also said that the Qingyuan project is not only the new power source of Conch Cement but also the new booming point of cement industry of Qingyuan, and Conch is one of enterprises with the fastest construction speed and its products are of powerful competition, and Conch also worth to be called the model enterprise on environment protection of cement industry. He added that they are very confident of the development of Conch in Qingyuan.

Mr.Guo Wensan expressed his appreciation on the support and help given to Conch from Mr.Chen and the leaders from every government stages since the beginning, and the Yingde project has contributed certain to the local economy development. He also added, as long as the outside construction conditions are fulfilled, we are sure the Qingyuan project will be very successful with the support and efforts from Mr.Chen and other authorities after the successful execution of Yingde project.

According to the letter of intent, Conch Cement plans to invest 2 billion CNY in Qingyuan county to build 3*5000 TPD cement production lines. The first phase will include 2*5000 TPD cement production lines, cement grinding lines accordingly, waste hest recovery power plant and harbor.

Qingyuan project will enhance the market share and influence of Conch Cement in Guangdong province, and will contribute a lot to the adjustment of local cement industry structure and the development of local economy.
