At 14:38 on 12 May, at the hurrahing job site and with firework ignited, Digang Conch 18300kW waste heat recovery power generation plant (WHG) for 2×2500t/d and 5000t/d clinker lines was put into operation successfully .

Digang Conch is 6^th job site to construct WHG project in Conch, and the project is a WHG of 3 kilns, 5 boilers and 1 T/G after Zongyang WHG. The project construction work started from 18 June 2006, and began to install equipment from 15 Nov. During the construction period, there were several analysis and discussion meetings hold and guarantee measures had been decided, and the project was inspected and accepted on site on 10 May in one time.

The successfully running of WHG will become a new profit promoting resource for Digang Conch. Until this report, the real capacity of the generator has been above 12900kW. Now all the staff of the Digang Conch are fully confident, and doing their best to carry out the supervision of the equipment and maintenance work, to make sure the reliable, stable and efficient operation of the project.
