On January, 2012, during the investigation of ZHANG Lijun, deputy minister of Ministry of Environmental Protection of PRC, Mr. Zhang said, Conch Group, as the leading enterprise in Chinese cement industry, dared to adopt technological innovation in the past years. At present, Conch shall carry out low nitrogen combustion technology, build and operate denitration facilities, and make a positive demonstration function in environmental governance of Chinese cement industry.
 On June. 19, 2012, 1# 5000t/d production line in Wuhu Conch, subsidairy of Conch Group, started the denitrification modification, the hierarchical combustion modification technology it adopted is the first in China. After one month low nitrogen combustion technology modification, the NOx amount of the first line in Wuhu Conch decreased 30%, which has achieved obvious energy saving purpose, and accumulated successful experience one the application of this technology.
