On October 20, WageningenUniversity Research Center professor Eric, EU Urban Environment China Project Office Dr. Zhang Mingli, accompanied by Jiangsu Province Environment Science Institute Zhu Zhongzhan visited China Cement Plant for investigating environmental management project implementation, energy conservation and emission reduction etc.

    Accompanied by the company's leaders, the project team director, Professor Eric visited the 24MW WHG unit project being contributed,  Professor Eric admired the company  to invest a large amount in energy conservation and emission reduction. He praised again when he learned that, the project could saved 61000 tons standard steamer coal yearly,

    It' s known that there was 14 enterprises to participate the voluntary  consultative environmental management project in China. Its goal is to save 500,000 tons standard coals. China Cement Plant attended the project, which will over fulfill the anticipated target ahead of time.

    Deputy general manager of Chinese Cement Plant Jia Shutang introduced the company's situation,especially in energy conservation and emission reduction.

   Professor Eric praised that the company's achievement on energy conservation and emission reduction ,he expressed that they would continue to strengthen cooperation with Chinese Enterprises, communication, establishing the voluntary consultative management the platform. At last, Professor Eric also bestowed China Cement Plant the environmental management documents.
